This gives full compatibility with the latest Macintosh Catalina (OS 10.15) and Windows operating systems and full backwards compatibility with the ColorMunki Display Hardware. The New i1 Studio software can be obtained from our downloads page below. I have been using Colormunki photo with iMac G5 and Snow Leopard then upgrading to new intel Mac with Tiger, the software hangs and I have to do a force close after downloading an upgrade. I have been told by support that the file size is smaller than it should be but it is the very same as the working app on my old iMac. The ColorMunki Display colorimeter is a less expensive version of the i1 Display Pro colorimeter. It comes bundled with a simpler vendor software and has longer measurement times compared to the i1 Display Pro. Apart from that, the instrument appears to be virtually identical. Buy X-Rite ColorMunki Display (Black) featuring Ergonomic: 3 Integrated Functions, Advanced Filter and Optical Systems, For Virtually All Modern Displays, Field-Upgradeable for Future Technology, Rotating Diffuser Arm / Tripod Mount, Easy and Advanced Modes, Ambient Light Measurement/Smart Control, Flare Correct, Intelligent Profiling for Color Accuracy, Automatic Hardware Adjustment. The ColorMunki Display software is not 64 bit compatible, and thus will not work on MAC OS 10.15 or higher. However, the latest version of the i1Studio software now supports the ColorMunki Display device and provides 64 bit compatibility. You can download this software at no charge.
